Dr. Holly Kennedy is a full-time Associate Veterinarian. She graduated LSU Vet School in 1999 and has been practicing at McArthur since 2016. She has a Labrador named Cricket and a Bully mix named Blue. In her spare time, she enjoys taking the dogs swimming, hiking, and camping. Veterinarian
Angie Lemons
Angie Lemons has worked in the veterinary field for the last 20 years. She found her home as the Office Manager at McArthur's two years ago. It is a perfect fit as she lives in Oak Ridge with her husband Rusty and their five dogs: Josie, a hound-mix rescue; two long hair miniature dachshunds, Lucy and Sheldon; and two wire-haired miniature dachshunds, Jezebel and Poncho. It comes as no surprise that most of her spare time is spent with her fur babies. They love walks, swimming, playing, and just relaxing together. Angie has always felt a connection and love for animals. Thanks to her job, she gets to spend her work hours playing and caring for animals. She is honored to meet and greet all the fur babies that come to visit.
Office Manager
Brooklyn Relford
My name is Brooklyn Relford and I am a Kennel Tech. I prefer dogs over cats. On Sunday morning you can usually find me in church. Three words that describe me are “kind,” “easy-going,” and “quiet.” Me and my friends like to go hiking, exploring, and to the movies. A good skill that I have is listening. I have a small dog named Coco, a Husky-wolf mix named Kuno, a cat named Orangie, two bunnies named Buggzy and Honey, and some chickens.
Kennel Technician
Emily Stewart
I’ve been working at McArthur since April 2022. I’ve been working as a veterinary assistant since 2019. I love all animals big and small. When I’m not at work you can find me with my dogs Buddy, Buster, and Bea. The are my fur babies. I enjoy the outdoors and hiking. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the animals’ spirits light up when given treats, kisses and snuggles!
Veterinary Assistant
Anna Marshall
Anna is a veterinary assistant/kennel tech. She just started her career at McArthur Animal Hospital, but her love for animals goes back to a very young age. She loves any and all kinds of animals. Although she currently doesn’t have any pets of her own, she hopes to have as many fur babies as possible. Anna loves to do any outdoor activity with her husband and her two year old daughter. She is a homebody but loves to get outdoors when she can. Her number one concern is providing the best care possible for clients and their pets.
Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Tech
Taylor Johnson
Taylor is a kennel tech here at McArthur's. When she's not here part-time, she's usually spending time with family and friends. She enjoys hiking and being outdoors when the weather is nice. On rainy days, visiting bookstores or painting at home is always fun! Although she doesn't have any pets of her own, she is so happy to have a job that allows her to care for and love other people's fur babies. Having a small hand in making them feel better is an amazing feeling!
Kennel Tech
Khari Spence
Khari has worked at McArthur since 2019 as a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician. She worked at McArthur previously from 2003 - 2008 (when her love for animals began) as a kennel assistant/veterinary assistant. She attended Columbia State Community College and received her Vet Tech license in 2010. She has been a LVMT since 2010. The best part of the job for her is helping someone's loved one that hasn't been feeling well turn that comer and get back to their loving family and knowing that she had something to do with it. In her free time, she can be found in her garden or tending to her mini farm of 25 chickens, two geese, and five cats: Baby, 14; Mischief, 14; Henry, 1; Charleigh, 1; and Maverick, 3 months. She also enjoys time with family and anything outdoors.

She loves her job because she loves animals and helping and caring for them the best she can.
